Workforce Professional Award Winner Builds Pathways for Trainees
Carla Domingo’s journey with Forge City Works began in 2014, starting as a production supervising chef and trainer. From day one, she quickly demonstrated exceptional skills in connecting with trainees.
Over the years, she advanced into the role of Workforce Development Specialist, where she oversaw relationships with employers and job placements. She built strong opportunities for participants, expanding access to internships and jobs.
Recognized with the Catalyst for Change Award in 2019, Carla now serves as the Training and Recruitment Specialist, focusing on onboarding, soft skills, and ServSafe certifications. She has helped trainees gain valuable skills, build confidence, and secure meaningful careers.
This year, in recognition of her dedication and impact, Carla was honored with the Workforce Professional Award by Capital Workforce Partners. This award celebrates her commitment to mentorship, training, and workforce development.
