The dinner table is the gathering spot for family connecting; now it can be the focus for building community and positive change. The food we eat is more than the power that fuels us. It can be power for the soul. It can be power to heal, and it can be the power to promote growth and create change. And not just in the life of an individual, but for the life of an entire community.

We may not be able to get together physically this year for our signature event, but we are still together! Let us bring all that you love about Forge City Works to your home through delivery of this year’s Farm to Forge dinner directly to you. We invite you to join us for a unique remote celebration of our community!

HOW WILL IT WORK

  1. Tickets will be sold in advance for $150 with additional add-ons available. Your ticket will include a meal (for two people) made by The Kitchen and delivered to your home (within 20 miles). Pick up is also available.
  2. We will provide you a link with your ticket purchase to gather on Zoom at 5:30 p.m. to learn about our Food for Good mission through a few short videos – all while enjoying our Billings Forge Cocktail together and delicious appetizers.
  3. Before we conclude and let you enjoy your entrees:
    • Raise your paddle the virtual way! Your gift during FCW’s biggest fundraising event of the year will directly support our job training and food access programs to help people change their lives.
    • Bid on one (or all) of our specially selected items and support our mission. Items include a virtual cooking class for four, a drop off dinner party for 10, a fill your fridge celebration box, some special bottles from Firebox’s cellar and so much more!

  • Billings Forge Cocktail or Non Alcoholic Market Cocktail

  • Local Cheese Plate with Demi Baguette

  • Smoked Salmon Canapés

  • Buttermilk Biscuits with Chorizo and Local Honey

  • Heirloom Tomato and Charred Peach Salad with Local Burrata

  • Your choice of: Smoked Stone Fruit BBQ Short Ribs with Sweet Potato Hash and Summer Vegetables or Spinach and Ricottta Gnudi, Tomato, Piquillo Peppers, Fried Shallots, Shaved Fennel and Arugula Salad, Grana Padano (VEG)

  • Sweet Treats Box: Truffles, Mini Cookies, Tartlets

  • Add on a Kids Meal: Lavender Lemonade, Hummus and Veggies, The Kitchen’s Mac and Cheese, and Chocolate Chip Cookie ($15).

Each basket will include a bottle of either red or white wine (your choice!) from our supporter T. Edward Connecticut whose generosity supports our job training and food access programs.
