As we near the one-year mark at Grocery on Broad, we’re reflecting on the impact we’ve made together—and the powerful role this space now plays in our community.

Since opening, 838 families have shopped with us. With every visit, we’ve made fresh, healthy food more accessible through our fair-pricing model. Together, we’ve provided over $53,000 in food access support, including $9,600 in SNAP and subsidies—ensuring families don’t have to choose between groceries and other essentials.

We’re learning every day and continuing to refine our model. One thing has stayed constant: our focus on community.

Through our Community Advisory Board, neighbors help shape the Grocery’s direction—offering feedback on product selection, customer experience, and new ideas. These conversations are guiding how we grow and serve.

The Grocery is also a hands-on learning site for our Culinary and Hospitality Job Training Program, giving trainees experience in retail and customer service. It’s another way we’re creating pathways to opportunity—right inside the store.

Grocery on Broad is becoming more than a market. It’s a trusted neighborhood resource. And thanks to you, it’s growing stronger every day.

We’re proud of what we’ve built together—and we can’t wait to see what comes next.
